By pulling down the plunger, molten Zr-based metal can be instantly injected into the mold on the copper hearth, allowing for the creation of bulk amorphous alloys. Round bars of 16mm diameter × 80mm length and plates of 5mm thickness × 18mm width × 100mm length can be produced by changing the mold. Additionally, this device has the capability to create not only bulk amorphous alloys but also multi-metal buttons and master alloys by exchanging molds, offering good operability and efficient sample production.
